Johannes and Philipp established El Flamingo to produce independent sports movies back in 2012. Afer combining studies with flmmaking for three years they started working on projects for outdoor and sports brands. In 2015 they opened their office in Düsseldorf. It´s their goal to tell visual stories about real characters and their adventures. El Flamingo is known for shooting on remote locations and under rough conditions. Beside their work as D.O.P.s they cooperate with brands to travel the world and create content about outdoor and cycling culture like the „Outlaw Diaries“ Series (International Shortflm Festival Berlin 2017, Trails In Motion World Tour 2018), „Over Decades“ or „ICE & PALMS“.
