April John Grepel G. Niebres is a Filipino aspiring filmmaker. He is a communications and marketing pundit by profession, and a filmmaker by passion. Having graduated with a degree in communication and a specialization in public relations, he is currently a junior communications coordinator in a higher education institution owned by one of the largest financial conglomerates in the Philippines. As a student, he was mostly inclined with film production, especially in writing screenplays, editing, and directing. During weekends, he quenches his cinematic thirst by making short films with his college friends. 2018 has been a monumental year for him as a hobbyist, when one of his short films (Elena) received an international recognition in a film festival in Italy. The main themes of his films revolve around circle of life, family, friendship, making a difference, and love. For all that, he continues to look for ways to improve himself and explore the world of cinema in order to inspire the world and to realize his life's purpose.
