Nicole Fornario is a lifelong storyteller with a deep-seated faith in the magic of cinema. An alumna of the State University of New York at Purchase, she focused her undergraduate studies on developing an insight into domestic and international film industries as well as an aptitude for story mechanics. Her critical eye for a wide breadth of cinema has allowed her to scrutinize the filmmaker/audience relationship in order to find opportunities for growth in a more globalized market. She believes this connection is key to the magic.
Since 2016 she has worked extensively in film distribution — as an acquisitions and marketing intern at arthouse staple Kino Lorber, marketing and operations coordinator at the Latin American-oriented distributor Cinema Slate, and co-presenting a feature film under her own label, E. California Pictures. Recently she has produced a short film titled Imagine – an Audience Award winner at the 2020 Northwest of NYC Film Festival. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and transitioning into the field of motion picture development.
