Whether we like it or not, social media has rewired our brains. If we haven't "performed" for our adoring followers in a given day, what really, have we done? I'm not a morning person. And when that familiar LCD screen flickers in my eyes, often before I see the morning sun, it's easy to hate everything and everyone performing on that tiny screen. But feelings are complicated, especially toward our (virtual) friends...
