e-HM-phasis

e-HM-phasis (emphasis) is a mechanism of intonation by which importance is attributed through the will to essentially highlight the unseen. It is captured and presented through film to evoke an understanding of what is said or read. A force of expression is intentionally emphasised through dramaturgy, videography, location, choreography and performer. e-HM-phasis is rhetoric and could be considered a form of synecdoche.
Essentially the theme of this NEW digital dance work is to highlight and present the unseen, something we are not capable of perceiving; captured and presented through film.
