Surya is a government job aspirant from a small village in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The story begins when his friend takes a little money from him and delays returning it. While Surya worries about the small amount he lost to his friend, a rowdy named Swamy enters the story and grabs a huge sum of money from Surya. Here, the story becomes more interesting as money itself emerges as the main character, affecting Surya's mental health, love life, and his mother's health.
