Dream America
Johnny one day dreams that he’s in an American night club having fun with his friends Dan and Bruno. The following day he tells them about his dream and he comes up with the idea of him and his friends going to America to find better opportunities and start a new life. They all agree to go to America and embark on the process that will enable them to get to America. As they take on the task, they realize that getting to America is not as easy as they thought but they have to persist amidst all the challenges.

Hussein Omar started out his filmmaking career in 2017 with his first feature film called ‘The Game’. He was the producer, writer and director of the film. In 2010 he made his second feature film called ‘Campus Times’. He moved on to make his third film in 2012 which is a sequel of four parts called ‘Everyday People’. In 2013 he made his fourth film called ‘Dead End’. In 2014 he made his fifth film called ‘Dead End’. In 2015 he co-directed two Television series called ‘The Hostel’ and ‘Five@Home’.
In 2016 he worked on the film ‘Dream America’. He has got a total of 22 nominations for films ‘The Counselor’ and ‘Dream America’. ‘The Counselor’ won best actress in the Pearl International Film Festival in Uganda. ‘Dream America’ won best feature film, best actor and best costume in the Pearl International Film Festival. Hussein has also written a couple of scripts for short films.
I believe that film has the power to change the lives of people.
