Beyond the Looking Glass
We are born into naked bodies that we strive to dress, decorate and change, in the hopes of reaching authenticity. In Porto Alegre, Brazil, seven people share their thoughts to burst the bubble of a much avoided topic.

This short documentary film is the product of a school discipline. The idea came from the need to address the much neglected topic of gender identity among teens and young adults in the directors' city. Most of the interviewed persons were friends of the directors prior to the shooting and were actually the inspiration for the film itself. The idea won a contest among the co-directors' classmates, earning the chance to be shot in 2014.
