Dimitris, Nikos... and the Uncertainty Principle
Seeking the truth and (behind the dots of the title) another one attempt to decipher the mystery of Human Luck. The story of a young child who was forcibly abandoned in the forest during the Greek civil war, managed to survive and grews up as a refugee in Poland.
Story parallel to another child 200 years ago, in the era of the Greek revolution and the civil wars that followed it.

Several years ago Vassilis Mitsakis (playwright, director and actor) then Director of the Regional Theatre of Central Greece commissioned me to write a play with the given title: "ROMΕΟ AND JULIET OF THE "LAOU" SQUARE". ( Laou» = «People’s», was probably the most degraded square in Lamia).
I confess that I had a hard time determining the tragic element of love and there I led the Luck, to guide two young people to meet in this square.
The tragic fact: The boy and the girl are siblings but they do not know it, because their birth father started a new family in the country where he found himself as a political refugee after the civil war.
By the time I finished it, the director had been replaced and the project, remained in my drawer; all this until Elias Stefanis’ autobiography came to my hands, so I had already included TWO elements of the story.
Civil war and Human Luck.
Human Luck and Civil War.
Many people agree with me, that the economic crisis that arose in Greece in 2010 - contributed to the resurgence of old passions, that have their roots in the civil war of 1946 -1949 and perhaps older divisions, that often characterized the political system in Greece.
The war, and the civil war much worse, both as a setback to the most barbaric human instincts and one of the greatest ecological disasters, began to haunt me until I took the camera in my hand to investigate two seemingly irrelevant objects...
Civil war and Human Luck.
A problem on a camera remains uncorrected in ONE and ONLY Maria’s shooting before her death.
I do not know what to say about the result.
Traces fade in snow and fire.
For this reason, maybe the dog in the opening scene, that plays but also looks in vain for a bone in the sea is also the alter ego of the director.
