Michael R. Shea is an up-and-coming filmmaker from Dayton, OH. He releases his films under the banner of DMZ Films.

Founded in 2017, it has released three short films for festival screenings: 'The Cross at the Gem', its sequel 'Monarch', and 'Vanishing Point', which went on to win two awards at the 2019 Lander University 2WK Short Film Festival.

Michael is a fan of film noir, science fiction, and mysteries. He is also the host of the interview podcast 'The Basement Lounge' and is a producer on the serialized audio drama 'Dead Sirius' for which he also provides voice talent.
