Lorenzo Ci is a film director, activist, permaculturist and facilitator. He works and lives in Tuscany, around Florence, although he often also dedicates himself to national and international projects.
He has been working for years on the design of collective processes, through cinema and arts, and cultural projects to respond together to the ecological crisis and regenerate the environment and society.
He co-founded Transistor (transistor.city) a network of local hubs to promote the inclusive ecological transition on cities and Valdisieve in Transizione, collaborates, among others, with Rinascimento Green, Disco Soupe Firenze, FacilitArte and the Italian Academy of Permaculture .
"Dimmi dove sono i fiori" (Tell Me Where the Flowers Are) is a beginning of a research on how to see plants as protagonists of a film. Let's think again our relationship with the botanical world and how we should use narrative differently to tell their stories.
