Robert Bryce Milburn is an award-winning director, producer, and writer based in Atlanta. In-between producing his short films and writing, he works as a Grip, Best Boy Grip, and Key Grip. He has won several awards for his horror short film American Hell (2014), starring Joshua Mikel from The Walking Dead (2010) and Hannah Fierman from V/H/S (2012). He shares these accolades with Nicholas Begnaud.
He began his career while working as a Production Assistant on television shows such as The Walking Dead (2010), The Biggest Loser (2009), and Toddlers and Tiaras (2009), after he graduated from The Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Photography and Minor in Film and Television. Within a year after graduation, he was already moving up towards Field and Production Coordinator on shows such as The New Atlanta (2013) and Double Divas (2013). Bryce continued to climb the ranks of the film industry, quickly finding a passion in the art of Cinematography. During 2014, he began working as a Camera Assistant and Camera Operator on television shows such as Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta (2010), The Real Housewives of Atlanta (2008), FriendZone (2014).
In December 2013, Bryce joined the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees' Local 479 as a Grip and Rigging Grip. That next month he began working on his first ever union job as a rigging grip on The Trip to Bountiful (2014). After that day, he stuck with his position as a Grip and quickly jumped on every production he could, such as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015), Goosebumps (2015), Ride Along 2 (2016), Dirty Grandpa (2016), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019), and promos for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). Within a few years, he has worked his way up with Key Grip and Best Boy credits on show such as Being Mary Jane (2013), The Carbonaro Effect (2014), The Quad (2017), and Ozark (2017).
