a music video short film set to the music of D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L by the band Panchiko (used with their permission) based on philosophy of duality and lighting mixed with the emotions that the human condition deals with in different mindsets. Inspired by the photography and videography of Anton Corbijn, and the old visuals and aesthetic of rapper and producer JPEGMAFIA and band Panchiko.

Director Biography - Aidan Bridwell

Aidan Bridwell is 17 years old and is a current resident of Southern California. He likes to delve into philosophy regarding duality, contrasting, and the effects of these on the human condition to analyze how people behave. He is also a music producer of 4 years, and a music student of 7 years, as well as a film student for 4 years. "derelict o7'" is his first film to be submitted to festival, however another short film of his known as "The Rules of Shadows", another piece delving into duality philosophy, recently won first place in film for the San Bernardino County Young Artist's Gallery.

"i honestly just make what i like. i emulate what i see and appreciate and add on to it. anton corbijn, chris cunningham, barrington hendricks (JPEGMAFIA), richard d. james (aphex twin), quentin dupieux (mr. oizo), all huge influences on me. as well as basquiat. they're all so unique and abstract and wacky and creepy and weird and something about me absolutely, unabashingly loves it."
