A native of Newberg, Oregon Derek Willis studied Cinema Production, Theatre, and creative writing at the University Of Redlands, CA. After which he spent 10 years working in the LA film industry, focused mainly as an editor before moving back to Portland to pursue creative filmmaking as a director and producer with his new company MaRoZel.com
