Experiencing Interruptions?

"Defining Challege"

Each of us is challenged in our own way and we must make a conscious decision to either to succumb or overcome. For individuals with intellectual disabilities the challenge is even more real – yet so many choose to engage, compete, and prove. “Defining Challenge” explores some of the day to day concerns, struggles and triumphs of four athletes with intellectual disabilities: Willy, Tommy, Jon and Alexa.

In the Special Olympics athletes come together in the spirit of confidence and excitement, to experience a competition that unites these individuals and their families. The Special Olympics National Games 2014 serve as the backdrop for these compelling stories of these families and athletes.
