Born on 5th October in the Jhalawar district of South Rajasthan, India, Dedipya Joshi completed his primary education in Kota (Rajasthan, India) before graduating from Jaipur (Rajasthan, India) in the late 90s. With a career spanning 25 years in Mumbai (Maharashtra, India), he is a celebrated Indian filmmaker known for creating impactful films centered on social issues. His body of work includes award-winning feature films, TV series, and over 250 infomercials. Dedipya’s creative storytelling and commitment to authentic cinema have earned him recognition both in India and internationally.

Kaanchli (2020) – Directed, Produced and co-wrote this Hindi film (partially in Rajasthani), based on Kenchuli, a folktale by Vijaydan Detha. The film has been widely appreciated on OTT platforms and won several awards, including:
