Director Statement

This has been a story we really wanted to tell.

Following the epicenter of social and economical turbulance of our hometown, Athens, as well as a broader global stance towards homosexuality, we felt like this has been a story we ought to portray visually and lyrically.

It's a love story of two young men, as if a human is split between his own acceptance and self-denial.

A man who has been constantly oppresed by society -represented by a conservative masculine gang of individuals-, is at war with both himself, and the oppresor, trying to figure out a way to escape the norm that was forced upon his nature.

It's undebatable, that certain individuals have been facing the Goliath, that society is when it comes to sexual preference. Through this story, we try to empower those who struggle accepting who they truly are, and at the same time, deprive of power, those who arbitrary decided for the rest of us.
