The Oregon State International Film Festival was founded by film enthusiasts teaching international cinemas at Oregon State University. OSIFF presents award-winning films from across the globe, many of which premiere at Berlinale, Cannes, and Sundance. OSIFF also regularly screens world premieres, US premieres, and west coast premieres. We accept submissions of interesting and unique films in all formats and languages. We might limit run times and other criteria for certain seasons of the year.

2019 marks a new beginning, as the festival is turning into a pop-up festival throughout the year. We currently screen films in Corvallis (we choose the venue, depending on availability of an auditorium), and are exploring partnerships in Albany, Ashland, Eugene, Portland and Salem. The OSIFF is not affiliated with Oregon State University.

For its 2019 fall screenings, Oregon State International Film Festival solicits submissions for documentary, narrative, animated, and experimental short films (up to 20 minutes), and for documentary, narrative or animated feature films (longer than 20 minutes, but less than two hours). Please read the following:

In order to be considered, submissions should be international in nature. This means that the submission could
a) be in a language other than English (with English subtitles), OR
b) be filmed in a country outside of the United States, OR
c) be accompanied by an explanation regarding how the submitted film qualifies as "international."
