While being new to the world of academia, I experienced making a few documentaries besides my practices as a theater student. Feeling lost in the realm of cinema, I discovered essay films. At that moment, I knew I wanted to experience making essays inspired by pure witnessing—be it the overturned positions between mankind and nature or my personal connections with the environment I grew up in, surrounded by political and social turmoil. I enjoy exploring the intertwined boundaries of reality, imagination, and history through the medium of moving images and sound.
