Director Statement

With “Danny & Julia; Contemplation of Being”, I am trying to rebirth the classic art form of philosophy described through visual story telling. This short film is in homage to philosopher George Berkeley’s Dialogues between Hylas and Philonous. The theme and story of this film is inspired by a combination of different theories and philosophers throughout history. The purpose of this story is to reinvigorate the mind and make one’s self reevaluate their belief in the structure of existence.
