Dagan McClure-Sikkema has been infatuated with films and film making ever since he was introduced to iMovie on his dad's work iPad at age 8. His inspirations are Jim Jarmusch, Kelly Reichardt, Paul Thomas Anderson, and the Coen Brothers.
Dagan graduated from Grand Valley State University in Spring of '24 with a B.A in Film and Video Production. He has directed two micro-shorts, one of which was shot on 16mm, and one short, also shot on 16mm.
His favorite kinds of projects to work on are the weird ones. Films he's made have played in ArtPrize and in the Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival. His career goal is to direct an independent feature film.
