Director Statement

In "When I Think of My Death," I set out to explore the complex intersection between loss and guilt, but also hope and the possibility of reconciliation. I wanted to capture the emotional intensity of those crucial moments in Gabriel’s life, from childhood to adulthood, and how these events shape him.

The fragmented structure of the short film reflects the fragmented nature of memory itself, where memories intertwine in a non-linear way, revealing layers of meaning and emotion as we move forward. //
