CTLPDX International Environmental Film Festival is a celebration of diverse films which highlights our communal need to care for the Earth and all of creation. We seek submissions which pose creative solutions to our global environmental dilemmas, and inspire hope and action to preserve the planet. Located in Portland, Oregon, films which explore topics related to the Pacific Northwest are greatly encouraged.

We hope to find interesting and exciting pieces that open conversations and celebrate our creation. We are a progressive festival, so films about LGBTQIA, disabilities, minority populations, people of all and no faith are encouraged.

Digital award laurels will be given to films in each category and be voted on by festival goers.

Only films that are on topic will be considered. That means, your film must include some element of sustainability, ecology, conservation, and/or Earth Day. Off topic films will not be considered.

Films in languages others than English must include English subtitles.

Films less than 30 minutes, including credits, will be considered. Longer films will, most likely, not be chosen due to venue restrictions.

Submitting to the festival grants us the right to show your film and to use your film information and stills in our publicity for this and future film festivals. (Your film pages supplied in your submission will be linked if the stills are used for future advertising.)

This film festival will be held downtown Portland, OR in a historic church. Films with minimal curse words will be considered. Films with a large amount of expletives will not be accepted. (We are viewing these in a church and seek to be respectful to our host.)

Payment (if applicable) is due in full at time of registration and there are no refunds.

If a higher resolution copy of your film is available, please provide link upon festival acceptance.

I was not even contacted by anyone of the festival to let me know that my film was selected to participate. I sent a screening copy via We Transfer and it was not even downloaded, even if I sent an e.mail to notify about the file transfer. I only got an "accepted" icon via Film Freeway notification. Therefore, I didn't meet anyone, I couldn't make any networking and I didn't get any news from the festival.

Great communication and support - even though I wasn't able to attend, they mailed me a certificate and a thank you letter describing the audience's reactions to my film.
