Corridor
On 3 August 2014, the city of Sinjar in northern Iraq was conquered by the Islamic State. An estimated 200,000 people fled the region. Those who could not escape sought protection in the Sinjar Mountain. Most of them were Yazidis. They were able to leave the mountain one week later through an escape corridor. A filmmaker is traveling through this corridor in the opposite direction to the Sinjar Mountain, which is surrounded by Islamic State.
