Welcome to the CORK FILM WEEK! The festival’s mission is to celebrate films and the art of filmmaking. We hope to provide a venue for filmmakers to exhibit their latest work, meet other filmmakers, and learn from industry professionals. We also hope to serve as a forum for discussion and debate about films and filmmaking. Our biggest dream is that our festival can also be a tool for marketing your movies; we hope to generate buzz and interest in your new releases. And be sure that we will do our best so that the festvial allows honest, objective feedback from audiences who don’t have any connection to you or your film. We hope to see your movie soon at the CFW2023!

Rules & Terms

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR 2022 SUBMISSIONS

1. Films can be from anywhere in the world.

2. Films must have subtitles in English.

3. Any project may participate, no matter when or where it is created.

4. Cork Film Week festival has the right to use a trailer, stills and a poster from the films for promotional purposes.

5. All decisions regarding award winners are considered final and incontestable. We reserve the right not to give a winner in any of the categories.

    This is not a film festival and I am embarrassed that I spent money submitting. There is no venue. The "festival" date is one day after the announcement of the selections. When were we supposed to "meet other professionals"? How did it "allows honest, objective feedback from audiences."? Unfair and deceptive. Stay away.
