Director Biography - Joel Wilson

Joel Wilson, 21, is a Bachelor of Communications Graduate from Auckland University of Technology. He wrote, directed and edited Cocktail. Joel also edited the short film Grounds for Murder in the 2015 48 hour film competition and was Director of Photography on short films Sabertooth Tim and Two Steps Behind. He has since assisted as camera operator on an independent feature film in Tasmania called A Pleasant View and edited the short film Finding Jesus.

Joel is currently working in Hobart, Tasmania producing Television Commercials. He hopes to progress in the film industry and eventually direct feature films.
