However, the present paints a bleak picture. Many of these historical wells are either extinct or on the verge of extinction, threatened by neglect and urban development. Many of these historical wells remain uncharted in the vast sea of the internet. They stand as guardians of our past, urging us to protect these living relics of our shared heritage. We will discuss a total of 13 wells which are very famous in Patna and may or may not exist at present .
