Director Statement

A few themes I loves to explore in my work are the female perspective, finding beauty in things that are dark, the mysteries of childhood, and the way our memories shape us. I gain my inspiration from the new stories and challenges that each project brings, photography and films I connect to stylistically, and most of all from the fellow creatives with whom I have the privilege of collaborating.

Working on this film for Circle Camps was a huge privilege. It was a humbling experience to enter into the lives of these strong girls who are journeying through grief at such a young age. The support and love the campers have for one another is truly inspiring, and it was an honor to tell the story of the wonderful camp that they call home.
