Bases de la convocatoria
1. Producciones audiovisuales
1.1. El V Festival Internacional de Cine-CINESPACIO se realizará del 25 al 27 de octubre de 2019. La actual convocatoria es efectiva entre el 09 y el 30 de agosto del mismo año.
1.2. La convocatoria está abierta para cortometrajes nacionales e internacionales en las siguientes categorías: ficción, documental y experimental***.
*** Desde el Festival Internacional de Cine-Cinespacio consideramos la Animación como una técnica que puede acoplarse a diferentes formatos o categorías (en este caso a la ficción, el documental y el experimental).
1.3. Todas las producciones deben haber sido terminadas después del 1 de enero de 2018.
1.4. Las producciones solo pueden ser cortometrajes de hasta 25 minutos de duración.
1.5. No se aceptarán:
a. Trabajos publicitarios, videos institucionales, reportajes periodísticos o cortometrajes que violen la ley de exhibición colombiana.
b. Películas de personas naturales o jurídicas colombianas o extranjeras que se encuentren en algún proceso judicial, en el cual se cuestione la idoneidad de sus recursos, los de sus representantes, administradores, directivos y/o accionistas.
c. Los proyectos que tengan alguna participación económica, artística, autoral o técnica de un miembro de CINESPACIO o del Comité Evaluador, o cualquier persona que tenga relación con el festival así: cónyuge o compañero(a) permanente, o parientes hasta el segundo grado de consanguinidad, segundo de afinidad y único civil.
d. Películas de algún miembro de CINESPACIO.
e. Proyectos de los miembros del Comité Evaluador.
f. Proyectos del cónyuge o compañero permanente o los parientes de los miembros del Comité Evaluador, hasta el segundo grado de consanguinidad, segundo de afinidad y único civil.
g. Producciones audiovisuales de las personas naturales o representantes, administradores o accionistas de personas jurídicas que tengan o hayan tenido injerencia en el proceso de elaboración de las bases, selección de miembros de los comités evaluadores u organización de la convocatoria.
h. Trabajos que hayan participado en versiones anteriores del Festival.
1.6. No hay límite en la cantidad de títulos que puede registrar un mismo realizador o entidad productora, siempre y cuando cumpla con las condiciones de la presente convocatoria.
1.7. La programación del Festival CINESPACIO se compone de varias secciones no competitivas. Los filmes seleccionados y programados serán incluidos en la sección que el Comité de Curaduría considere apropiado.
1.8. La inscripción de las producciones audiovisuales no tendrá ningún costo y se realizará a través de las plataforma FilmFreeway. El realizador que detente los derechos deberá diligenciar, antes del 30 de agosto de 2019, el formulario de inscripción.
1.9. La inscripción de la película no será considerada válida si las fichas de registro en FilmFreeway, asi como el formulario de inscripción, no son diligenciadas en su totalidad y si no se recibe el link de la copia de visionado en las fechas estipuladas. Las películas deberán haber sido inscritas vía online antes del 30 de agosto de 2019, sin excepción. El Comité de Curaduría no está obligado a ver películas inscritas fuera de los términos acordados en este reglamento. Una vez inscrita y seleccionada para participar, la película no podrá ser retirada de la programación del festival.
1.10. El Festival no pagará screeningfees a los realizadores de las piezas audiovisuales.
1.11. En caso de no recibir el trailer del filme, el festival podrá utilizar fragmentos del mismo con fines promocionales que no superen el 10% de la duración total del trabajo. Si los fragmentos no estuvieran disponibles por parte del productor del filme, el festival podrá copiar uno o más fragmentos para ser utilizados con fines promocionales durante el festival.
1.12. Con el objetivo de difundir la programación y cada uno de los filmes seleccionados, el festival podrá utilizar fotos y clips digitales (de menos de 3 minutos) de las películas en su sitio de Internet.
1.13. El armado de la programación, fechas y horarios de proyección de cada película son decisión de los miembros organizadores del festival y está sujeta a cambios. Se informará debidamente a través de los medios de comunicación propios.
1.14. La inscripción en el festival supone la aceptación del presente reglamento. Cualquier conflicto (de organización o de funcionamiento) no previsto en el presente reglamento será resuelto por los miembros organizadores del festival.
1.15. Las piezas que no cumplan con los requisitos y la documentación exigida, serán excluidas del proceso de selección
2. Ensayo escrito:
2.1. La convocatoria para el mejor ensayo escrito en el marco del V Festival Internacional de Cine-CINESPACIO será efectiva entre el 09 y 30 de agosto de 2019.
2.2. La temática del ensayo está determinada por la temática del festival: Migraciones, diásporas y narrativas en tránsito.
2.3. El escrito debe oscilar entre 3500 y 7000 palabras.
2.4. Solo puede enviarse hasta un (1) escrito por persona.
2.5. El formato de entrega debe ser en .docx o .pdf. y con las siguientes especificaciones: Fuente: Arial, Tamaño: 12, Interlineado: 1.5. Al principio o final del texto el autor debe especificar su nombre completo.
2.6. El escrito debe ir acompañado de un resumen de máximo 350 palabras.
2.7. Para hacer efectiva la inscripción del participante, este debe diligenciar a cabalidad el formulario de inscripción: https://forms.gle/Ldf2kBMC48iyM6jf6.
2.8. El escrito presentado por el participante debe ser de autoría propia, inédito y no puede encontrarse publicado en revistas o plataformas de crítica y análisis cinematográfico a nivel nacional e internacional.
2.9. No se aceptarán:
a. Escritos que tengan alguna participación económica, artística, autoral o técnica de un miembro de CINESPACIO o del Comité Evaluador; o cualquier persona que tenga relación con el festival así: cónyuge o compañero(a) permanente, o parientes hasta el segundo grado de consanguinidad, segundo de afinidad y único civil.
b. Escritos de algún miembro de CINESPACIO o del Comité Evaluador.
c. Escritos del cónyuge o compañero permanente o los parientes de los miembros del Comité Evaluador, hasta el segundo grado de consanguinidad, segundo de afinidad y único civil.
d. Escritos que no versen sobre la temática del festival.
e. Escritos que no cumplan con el límite de palabras estipulado, el formato de entrega establecido y/o la diligencia incompleta del formulario de inscripción.
f. Escritos cuya autoría no sea de la persona inscrita y/o que se encuentren publicados en alguna plataforma de crítica y análisis cinematográfico a nivel nacional e internacional.
3. Sistema de transferencia de archivos
3.1. La película debe estar en una resolución mínima de 720p y máxima de 1080p, en formato MP4 y codec H2.64.
3.2. Además, debe anexar los siguientes archivos:
a. Tres (3) imágenes en alta resolución, promocionales de la pieza concursante, además del link del trailer de la película en alta resolución.
b. Escaneado del registro del guión o de la solicitud del registro del guión, expedida por la Dirección Nacional de Derechos de Autor. (No obligatorio).
c. Escaneado del documento de identidad del concursante.
d. Sinopsis oficial de la pieza (máx.120 palabras), biografía y filmografía del director.
e. Listado de créditos técnico y artístico completo.
f. Formulario de inscripción completamente diligenciado.
g. Aquellas películas cuyo idioma de origen no sea el español deberán incluir sus respectivos subtítulos. De lo contrario, la obra será automáticamente descalificada.
IMPORTANTE: con la participación en esta convocatoria, se autoriza el uso de la obra y sus imágenes para la divulgación y publicación en medios impresos y/o digitales por parte de la organización del Festival. Los derechos de los archivos enviados permanecerán en propiedad del autor. Así mismo, se acepta ceder los derechos de exhibición de las piezas audiovisuales para su proyección en las fechas del festival a la CORPORACIÓN CINESPACIO. Las piezas seleccionadas entrarán a ser parte de la videoteca del Festival Internacional de Cine-CINESPACIO y la CORPORACIÓN CINESPACIO podrá hacer uso de ellas para futuros eventos de difusión cinematográfica, organizados por él mismo, sin ánimo de lucro y con previo aviso a los autores.

REGULATIONS
1. Audiovisual productions:
1.1. The V International Film Festival - Cinespacio will take place from October 25 to 27, 2019. The current call is effective from August 09 to 30 2019.
1.2. The call is open to short films in the following categories: fiction, documentary and experimental.
1.3. All productions must have been completed after January 1, 2018.
1.4. The productions can only be short films of maximum 25 minutes in length.
1.5. The following will not be accepted:
a. Advertising works, institutional videos, news reports or short films that violate Colombian exhibition law.
b. Films of Colombian or foreign natural or juridical persons who are in a judicial process, whereby the appropriateness of their resources, their representatives, administrators, managers and / or shareholders is questioned.
c. Projects that have an economic, artistic, authorial or technical participation of a member of CINESPACIO or the Evaluation Committee, or any person who has a relation with the festival, such as: permanent spouse or partner, or relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity , second of affinity and unique civil.
d. Movies of some member of CINESPACIO.
e. Projects of the members of the Evaluation Committee.
f. Projects of the spouse or permanent partner or relatives of the members of the Evaluation Committee, up to the second-degree of consanguinity, second of affinity and only civil.
g. Audiovisuals of natural persons or representatives, administrators or shareholders of legal entities that have or have had interference in the process of elaboration of the bases, selection of members of the evaluation committees or organization of the call.
h .Works that have participated in previous versions of the Festival will not be accepted.
1.6. There is no limit on the number of films that can be registered by the same producer or producing entity, as long as it complies with the terms of this call.
1.7. The program of the CINESPACIO Festival is composed of several non-competitive sections. Selected and scheduled films will be included in the section deemed appropriate by the Curatorial Committee.
1.8. Registration of films for the Festival is free. The director who holds the rights must fill out the Registration Form available on the Festival website before August 30, 2019.
1.9. The registration of the film will not be considered valid if the FilmFreeway registration form and the Registration Form are not fulfilled, and if the link of the viewing copy is not received on the stipulated dates . Films must have been registered online before August 30, 2019, without exception. The Curatorial Committee is not obliged to watch films registered outside the terms agreed in this regulation.
1.10. The festival will not pay screeningfees to the films directors.
1.11. If we do not receive the trailer of the film, the Festival may use fragments of it for promotional purposes, which do not exceed 10% of the total duration of the work. If the fragments were not available by the producer of the film, the Festival may copy one or more fragments of the film to be used for promotional purposes during the Festival.
1.12. In order to disseminate the program and each of the selected films, the Festival may use digital photos and film clips (less than 3 minutes) on its website.
1.13. The planning of the dates and time schedule of each film are decided by the Festival Organization and they are subject to changes. It will be duly informed through our own medias.
1.14. Registration at the Festival implies acceptance of these regulations. Any conflict (of organization or operation) not provided in these regulations will be resolved by the Festival Organization.
1.15. The pieces that do not meet the requirements and the required documentation will be excluded from the selection process.
2. Written essay
2.1. The call for the best written essay in the V International Film Festival-CINESPACIO will be effective from August 09 to 30, 2019.
2.2. The topic of the essay is determined by the theme of the festival: Migrations, diasporas and narratives in transit.
2.3. The writing should range from 3500 to 7000 words.
2.4. Only one (1) essay can be sent per person.
2.5. The delivery format must be in .docx or .pdf. with the following specifications: Source: Arial, Size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5. At the top or bottom of the text the author must specify his full name.
2.6. The writing must be accompanied by an abstract that should have a maximum length of 350 words.

2.8. The paper submitted by the applicant must be of their own authorship, unpublished and it can't be published in magazines or platforms of criticism and film analysis at national and international level.
2.9. It will not be accepted:
a. Writings that have any economic, artistic, author or technical participation of any member of CINESPACIO or the Evaluation Committee; or anyone who has a relationship with the festival members like this: spouse or permanent partner, or relatives up to the second degree of inbreeding, second of affinity and single civilian.
b. Writings of any CINESPACIO members or the Evaluation Committee.
c. Writings from the spouse, permanent partner or relatives of the Evaluator Committee members up to the second degree of inbreeding, second of affinity and single civilian.
d. Writings that are not about the theme of the festival.
e. Writings that do not comply with the stipulated word limit, the established delivery format and/or the complete diligence of the registration form.
f. Writings whose authorship is not of the inscribed person and/or published on some critical platform and film analysis at national and international level.
3. File Transfer System:
3.1. The film must be at a minimum resolution of 720p and maximum resolution of 1080p, in MP4 format and H2.64 codec.
3.2. In addition, the participant must attach the following files:
a. Three (3) high-resolution promotional images of the contestant piece, plus the trailer link of the film in high resolution.
b. Scanning of the script record or the application for the registration of the script, issued by the National Copyright Directorate (not mandatory).
c. Scanning of the contestant's ID.
d. Official synopsis of the film (max.120 words), biography and filmography of the director.
e. Technical and artistic credits list fully completed.
f. Registration form fully completed.
g. Those films whose source language is not Spanish must include their respective subtitles. Otherwise, the work will be automatically disqualified.
IMPORTANT. By participating in this competition, use of the work and its images to the disclosure and publication in print and / or digital is authorized by the Festival. The rights of files sent remain the property of the author.
Also, it agrees to assign the rights of exhibition of audiovisual works for screening at the Festival dates CINESPACIO CORP. The selected pieces will come to be part of the Festival’s Video Library and CINESPACIO CORP. may use them for future events of film distribution, organized by the same, always without any profit and with prior notice to the authors.
