CineScreen International Film Festival Rules and Terms
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants, please review the following rules and terms. By participating in the CineScreen International Film Festival, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.
General Rules
1. **Eligibility**:
The festival is open to filmmakers and screenwriters worldwide. Submissions must be original works created by the individual or team submitting them.

Best Feature Film
Best Documentary
Best Drama
Best Sci-Fi
Best Animation
Best Non-Dialogue Film
Best Student Film
Best Low-Budget Film (under $5k)
Best Director
Best First-Time Director
Best Cinematography
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Short Film Screenplay
Best Feature Film Screenplay
Best Student Film Screenplay
3. **Language**:
All films and screenplays must be in English or have English subtitles. Non-English screenplays must be accompanied by an English translation.
4. **Submission Format**:
- Films: Digital format (MP4, MOV) with a minimum resolution of 1080p.
- Screenplays: PDF format.
5. **Submission Process**:
Entries must be submitted through the official CineScreen submission portal. Submission fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of submission.
6. **Deadline**:
All submissions must be received by the specified deadline. Late submissions may be accepted at the discretion of the festival organizers, subject to additional fees.
7. **Selection Process**:
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals. Selections will be based on originality, creativity, technical proficiency, and overall impact.
Terms and Conditions
1. **Rights and Permissions**:
- Participants must have full rights and permissions for all content submitted, including music, images, and any other copyrighted material.
- By submitting a film or screenplay, participants grant CineScreen the right to screen the film or present the screenplay during the festival and use excerpts for promotional purposes.
2. **Content Restrictions**:
Submissions containing explicit content, hate speech, or material promoting violence or discrimination are strictly prohibited and will be disqualified.
3. **Attendance**:
While attendance is not mandatory, filmmakers and screenwriters are encouraged to attend for networking opportunities and to participate in Q&A sessions and panels.
4. **Awards and Prizes**:
Awards will be presented in various categories. The festival reserves the right to determine award categories and winners. All decisions are final.
5. **Technical Requirements**:
Selected films must be submitted in the required exhibition format by the specified deadline. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
6. **Liability**:
- CineScreen is not responsible for any loss or damage to submitted materials.
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the festival organizers, sponsors, and partners from any claims arising out of their participation in the festival.
7. **Withdrawal**:
Participants may withdraw their submission at any time prior to the official selection announcement. No refunds will be issued for withdrawn submissions.
8. **Changes and Cancellations**:
The festival reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, venue, or programming as necessary. In the event of a cancellation, submission fees will be refunded.
