I work in the mediums of photography and film, with a deep interest in re-examining history through a lens of humor and play. I approach my work through improvisation—rearranging, reshaping, and experimenting, simply to observe what emerges.
My work is driven by a fascination with artists who invent their own playful dialects, and I gravitate to local stories and ideas where I can creatively fill in the gaps when I run out of truth.
I am a cross country skier, cycle tourist, and a wanna be improviser. I have a BFA in photography and an MFA in Cinema - for what its worth.
