Christopher Hoffman grew up in a large family of 11 in Chicago. In 2002 he moved to New York City.
He has worked as composer, cellist and sound engineer with Martin Scorsese (Shutter Island), Rupert Sanders (Ghost In The Shell) Yoko Ono, Henry Threadgill, Craig McDean, Bleachers, Michael Pitt and many others.
He has directed several music videos and 2 short films.
