Christina Ienna is a Canadian cinematographer and filmmaker.
Christina Ienna is a Canadian cinematographer and filmmaker. She has extensive experience in documentary, narrative and commercial production. Her vigour and devotion in evolving her craft makes Christina a versatile collaborator.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Film and Communication Studies from the University of Windsor and has over a decade of industry experience. The early part of her career was spent living in Alberta working with companies such as TRAVEL ALBERTA, VICE and TOURISM CANADA.
Although Christina primarily works as a cinematographer, she is well versed in directing. Her recent short documentary HANDMADE FILM has won awards in “Best Cinematography” and “Best Short Doc” on its current festival run. Music video GROWING YOUNGER is a National Scene Institute selection and she was recently admitted into WIDC [Women in the Director's Chair] alumnae. She also holds Associate Member status within the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
