Chen Drachman is an award-winning actress and filmmaker based in NYC.
She was a film and TV major in high school in Israel (graduated with honors), specializing in scriptwriting, producing, and editing.
Chen’s first film, The Book of Ruth, starring Tony and Emmy Awards nominee Tovah Feldshuh, has been in numerous festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including Cinequest, the Chelsea Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, BOGHOSHORTS and more.
The film won Best Narrative Short at the San Diego Jewish Film Festival, Best Family Short at the Deep in the Heart Film Festival, Best Narrative Short at the South Dakota Film Festival, and more.
Since it concluded its run at the festival circuit, it has had more than 150K views online through Omeleto.
Her upcoming film, But I’m a Shoe, starring The Legend of Korra’s Janet Varney, won Best Unproduced Script at the SENE Film Festival and was a finalist at the Flickers' Rhode Island Film Festival.
As a production consultant, she helped produce theater, films, and a variety of events of different scales.
Her acting credits include Last Week Tonight and The Path, starring Aaron Paul.
