Mitch Boudreau is an independent filmmaker and editor from Peterborough, Ontario, with a keen eye towards the creative. A graduate of the Film & Television Production program at Humber College, Mitch has been able to immerse himself in many different aspects of making films and telling stories. He has been a part of many different projects that have aired on NBCSN, CBC, PBS and multiple popular social media channels.
As many young filmmakers often do, I started making movies when I was a kid. I casted my friends and we ran around making ridiculous movies whenever we could. But as we all grew up and moved away from each other that stopped. I went off to film school and began a career in independent filmmaking. But no matter the project I never seemed to reach the levels of enjoyment as I had when I was making silly movies with my friends. And that's where Tanked was formed.
Tanked is a wacky web series that began as an excuse to get my old friends back together for one more ride. Written, directed, and edited by myself, and starring all my childhood friends I use to make movies with, we were able to dip back into our imaginations and put together a story with absurd set pieces and over-the-top violence. It was such an incredibly fun experience to make and I hope it's just as fun to watch.
