Director Biography - Charles Tillman, Daniel Lopez

Charles Tillman is a San Francisco-based, outsider artist and musician and has been active on the fringes of various American underground music, art and poetry scenes since the 1990's. He is now establishing his vision with a conceptual, acoustic guitar-centered project that he's been conceiving for 20+ years.

With just acoustic guitar, raw vocals and powerful lyrics; Charles Tillman strips his music down to fundamentals: simplicity, rhythm, harmony and melody and fuses art, innovation and experimentation with passionate storytelling -- using elements of all that has inspired him: Folk, Disco, Country, Gospel, Alternative, Minimalism, Experimental, Hip-Hop, Punk Rock, Performance Art, Free Poetry, Soul, Psychedelia, Mystical and R&B music - to achieve his own unique sound. Charles considers his music genre-less.
