Camarín & friends come this year bringing more good stories!

The International Audiovisual Festival for kids and teens, knowed as FICAIJ, born in Mérida, Venezuela, in 2010.

In this Festival, kids and teens are protagonists of the biggest celebration in International Cinema made specially for them.

So kids and teens can get closer to the film and audiovisual industry from over a dozen countries around the world.

The Festival motivates them to recognize, understand and respect other cultures.

In addition, the Festival offers a learning program where kids become directors, producers, actors & screen writers of their own stories.

A jury consisting of kids and teenagers will select the winners among the movies in the competition.

During these past eight years, we have reached over 35.200 kids and teens motivating them to appreciate film from both a spectator and filmmaker’s point of view.

If you are older than 2 years old, this Festival is for you!

Note: If you are submitting in this Festival, you are helping to the kids and teens from Mérida, Venezuela.

In this time, we are working hard to bring audiovisual shows, workshops and special events for at least 4000 children and teenagers in Mérida; likewise we hope to provide them, with this money, with 4000 backpacks filled with clothes, school supplies and food.
