Animator, video editor, and filmmaker Bryan Ribeiro has been creating time-based pieces for over 6 years. Born in Queens, grew up in Brazil, Westchester, and in the Bronx. A competitive swimmer growing up, he started his challenging his creative pursuits at a young age- starting with cat videos using Windows Movie Maker. Initially studying game design, he sought collaboration in meaningful ways and found filmmaking to be the best of artistic, mechanical, and narrative worlds. After graduating Parsons the New School for Design, he met with some cool people to collaborate and started making music videos, recording events, and video editing in several freelance companies such as Macy’s, MTV, NFL, Empire Design and so much more. Bryan’s heart, however, still lives in the story-driven realm of shorts, and completed his first feature film; psychological thriller HH. More recently, he's wrapped his slice of life fantasy Phosphene and hopes to connect with an audience and attend some dope film festivals.
