Director Statement

I generally always strived to pursue a particular social reflection using whichever weapon available. However, I soon started sensing that faithful portraits of society fail at deepening the discourse and once again saturate the audience with realism widely served via media. Additionally, the depiction and the analysis rarely offer a solution to the issues addressed. Apparently art can not fundamentally change the society, yet it may attempt more than a faithful mirror - a brainchild of the technical means of reproduction. Perhaps a rotation of the subject or an attitude which can suggest at least a temporal resolve.

Doomed to the inner quarrel between contempt and adoration, philanthropy and misanthropy and similar nuisances, I try to remain a gloating voyeur and a reporting witness of the overlooked. Or to entertain and distract, without breaching the feeble contract with own standards.
