Matt Dean has been a writer and performer for most of his life. Born into an artistic and musical family, he began acting in theater productions in middle-school and simultaneously discovered the accessible calling of a family-owned vintage drum kit. In his late teens and early twenties, he was drumming in a band in the local club scene around his hometown of Dallas, TX. Soon after, he wrote, produced and sang vocals for his five-track solo album 'The Mark.' Former MTV Executive and author Bill Flanagan('U2 at the End of the World', 'Written in My Soul'), wrote: "The Mark is a muscular take on 90's British dance rock." Matt eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue Voice-over and all creative desires and through his journey of training, performing and auditioning, he was deeply inspired and created the award-winning comedic web-series 'breatHHelmet.' Currently, he has produced, written, directed, edited, voice-acted and starred in eighty-five 'breatHHelmet' episodes.
