Box Me Up and Ship Me Home
“Box Me Up and Ship Me Home” tells the story of young clerk-turned-soldier Tim (Isaac Rosen), who is handed a gun and dropped into the Vietcong infested jungle. He is haunted by his visions of the future as he struggles to live in the present. Tim’s buddy, the hardy jokester Harley (Jon Schaefer), shows him the ropes when it comes to living in a war zone, but that might not be enough for Tim to avoid his fate...

From Albany, New York, Brendan Bequette is currently a sophomore in college studying Cinema & Photography, as well as Computer Science.
Inspired by the works of renowned author Tim O’Brien, a recent viewing of Apocalypse Now, and binge watching all six seasons of the series, Lost, I set out to create a new perspective on classic Vietnam War films. I aspired to make a film does not present a clear message. Rather, the film relies on the audience's ability to ponder and question the themes presented, and not be spoon fed a typical shoot-em-up war movie.
