BOMBAY 2024

Director Statement

Bombay 2024 is a satirical take on the totalitarian governance. In the film, no direct name calling has been done; no community or religion has been explicitly mentioned. The conversations have been censored to justify the horrors of the milieu. The colour palette chosen is monochrome (black and white) because of the polarised opinions expressed in the film. Ideologies of Left, Right & Center have been personifies through the characters & the framing of the camera. The timeline 2024 is chosen intentionally to magnify the horror of the near future. This is an experimental film.
