Independent Movie Maker in the Houston, TX area. I have always loved movies and the worlds they create. I grew up a military brat moving around every 3 years or so and my family would bond watching movies in the theaters or drive-ins.
I remember being in awe watching fantastic characters like Superman, Darth Vader, and Rambo ignite my imagination. Creativity grew from there, but it was hard for my military father and grounded mother to see the possibilities.
I bowed to their will and studied for a real job getting a degree in Criminal Justice. Looking back I think I watched one too many action films and wanted to be Batman or something. Anyway, 2 years into my studies I was given a gift of a baby boy I was not prepared for and I took my first screenwriting course as an elective. The die was cast and the journey began.
Fast forward 20 years or so and Life has done it's best to knock me on my ass, but like one of my favorite characters says, "It's not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward!" Thanks Rocky.
I have worked in several industries and have kept my head above water. I have taken every punch and keep moving forward. One constant remains true I will succeed as a Writer/Director.
