In the film "Black Widow," I embark on a deeply personal journey that explores the profound depths of my depression. The cryptic narrative resonates with many who have experienced victimhood, a fate I refused to accept. Instead, I chose to transform my trauma, rewrite my story, and take control of my life. I blamed only myself for what transpired, pushing myself to become a stranger. Subconsciously, my anger festered, leading to a sharp decline in my well-being. I saw myself as incapable of love and sabotaged relationships as a means of survival. However, I failed to realize that my traumas needed nurturing and care in order to heal. This short film represents a part of me letting go of self-blame and that inner voice telling me I’m nothing but a monster devouring the ones who care.
