Don't Be Afraid
Belarus is called the last dictatorship in Europe. In conditions of total fear and terror, the heroes of the film "Don't Be Afraid" challenged the dictatorship of Lukashenka and united the whole country.
The film "Don't Be Afraid" tells the story of the Belarusian people's struggle for fair elections. This film presents the fates of people who responded to the call of blogger Siarhei Tsikhanouski and took part in the 2020 presidential campaign.
The events are shown through the lens of the observations of filmmaker Mikhail Arshynski, who witnessed the incredible political confrontation of 2020. With a camera in his hands, he personally followed every stage of the campaign and filmed how the authorities prevented the collection of signatures and their transfer to the electoral commissions, how the headquarters of
alternative candidates united and travelled together with them around the regions of Belarus.
