Director Statement

Sound is what attracts my attention, both academically and artistically. Audio and sonic storytelling can be both classic and contemporary, as long as the proper attention is given during the creation. In an image-centered era, my directing vue aims at the emergence of the power of sound through what we see in cinema. And when fair political statements are facilitated by this, then a small task of the art of fim-making, can potentially be accomplished.
'Before the Waiting Room' intends to make a desperate cry of an Asylum Seeker heard, as this proves to be extremely difficult in normal life. Overall, the film and the character intend to criticize the administrative dead-end where the already heavy drama of the refugees stop.
