Orlando Bedolla is a filmmaker and LGBTQ activist who wants to create more LGBTQ content in order to increase LGBTQ presence in the media. He is currently working on a Spanish Language LGBTQ drama series. Orlando Interned at GLAAD in order to help advance LGBTQ representation in the media. While interning at GLAAD, he wrote and directed a PSA that caught national attention and was featured in the Spanish Language national TV sow Despierta America. Orlando also contributed to the first GLAAD report that analyzes the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) characters in primetime Spanish-language scripted television airing in the United States. Orlando wants to continue using his filmmaker skills to tell LGBTQ stories.
