The Butch Cassidy Film Festival

OUR MISSION

To discover exceptional independent films that depict the diverse stories and many facets of the American West; to educate, inspire, and entertain filmgoers from all walks of life.

ABOUT BCFF

In 1897 Butch Cassidy spent the night in Helper, Utah, home of the BCFF, before robbing the payroll of Pleasant Valley Coal Company in Castle Gate, Utah. The notorious saga of the Wild Bunch is one story of the American West. We're looking for yours.

We’re not just a film festival of westerns! We’re interested in films of any genre with the backdrop of the American West. The BCFF will showcase films that tell a unique story relating to life "out West."

I had a great time at the Festival. The audience asked a lot of questions about the film afterwards. The host were very friendly and accommodating.
