Director Biography - Anak Agung Ngurah Bagus Kesuma Yudha

Anak Agung Ngurah Kesuma Yudha, familiarly called Agung Yudha, is a filmmaker from Denpasar, Bali. He actively involves himself in various creative communities in Bali and is the chairman of the Film Sarad community. He is also a film studies teacher at the university. Specializing in documentary and horror films, Agung Yudha has a Master's degree in Cultural Studies, which equipped him with the theoretical and conceptual framework he needed to research his film projects. The documentary he produced entitled Pekak Kukuruyuk which examines the life of Balinese oral tradition archivist Made Taro won the Eagle Awards Documentary Festival in 2014. In 2022, he completed his first long documentary film entitled "Meburu" which tells the story of the implementation of traditional activities in the village of Panjer in Bali. As well as being the Director of the culinary documentary series "Jangkep: Balinese Taste Heritage" which dissects the culinary story of Bali and its existence today. In early 2023, Agung Yudha worked as Assistant Director of the film "Where the Wild Frangipanis Grow" which will have its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. Apart from being a filmmaker, Agung Yudha also acts as a writer and photographer. To date, he has published five books with an audio-visual context.
