Aydan is currently producing and directing his and John Francis Shemmings’ Debut Feature Film “The Stars Look Different in Chicago” under their production company WildSky Films.
Aydan Tair is a Bulgarian-born, London-based film and theatre director. He graduated Acting from Edinburgh Napier University, and holds an MA in Directing from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA.org.uk) where he staged the "The Island" by Athol Fugard, in the audience of which sat Dame Janet Suzman. Since then, Aydan has staged theatre productions all across London, including Theatre503 (theatre503.com) and the Canal Café Theatre (canalcafetheatre.com), along with producing his own film projects. Together with John Francis Shemmings, they produced the short film "The Easiest Things in the World", where Aydan won the award for "Best Director" from the International Summer Festival - AIKU, in 2020.
